agriChina - the meeting place for decision-makers in Chinese agribusiness.

agriChina 2007 comprises three segments: Exhibition, Technology Forum and Excursion (April 29, optional). The wide ranging exhibition program is tailored to the requirements of the Chinese market.

The exhibition comprises an international professional trade exhibition - over 130 local and international companies including market leaders from agricultural machinery, components and spare parts and animal food specialists. National pavilions from Germany and the Netherlands.

The product categories show:

• Agricultural machinery and plant production with tractors, harvesting machinery, machinery and equipment for sowing and drilling, fertilising, plant protection, irrigation, conditioning and storage, transport technology.

• R&D insititutes, manufacturer organisations

New: - Potato Special:
The "Potato Special" on over 650 sqm features comprehensive information about modern potato production in China with exhibitors presenting innovative products covering seed, planting, harvesting, transport, storage and processing. It is accompanied by expert presentations and discussions on current developments in the international potato industry within the "Potato Special Forum".

A broad conference and forum programme:
covers issues of importance to the development of Chinese agriculture and the East Asien region. E.g. an "All China Agricultural Mechanisation Conference" focusses on the agricultural machinery market in China. Other events deal with best practises in potato growing, paddy harvesting or restructing of R&D in Asian agricultural engineering.

An agricultural excursion (optional)
Whole day agricultural excursion in the vicinity of Beijing on April 29, 2007. Visits to arable and livestock farm businesses and companies to inspect agricultural "life" in the country side. Discussion with regional agricultural experts.
